Try it in:

• Root Beer Old Fashioned: 2 oz bourbon, ½ oz syrup. Stir with ice and garnish with orange peel and a cherry.
• Root Beer Float Twist: Stir the syrup with bourbon and a splash of soda, then serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side.
• Zero-proof: Mix with ginger beer, or with apple cider and a squeeze of lemon.
