Enhance the flavour of your cocktails and food with our Hickory Smoking Chips. Made from real hickory wood, these wood chips are perfect for use with our cocktail smoker. Enjoy a delicious, smoky taste at a smaller scale.

Flavour notes: Bold, savoury, bacon-like smoke. The strongest of our wood chips, and a natural match for whisky and bourbon.

How to use: Load a small pinch into the Cocktail Smoke Top, light it, and let the smoke fill the glass for 30–45 seconds. Longer smoking can turn bitter.

Try it with:

• Smoked Old Fashioned: 2 oz bourbon, a sugar cube and a dash of Middleton's Aromatic Bitters in a smoked glass with a large ice cube.
• Hickory Manhattan: 2 oz rye, 1 oz sweet vermouth and 2 dashes of Middleton's Cherry & Vanilla Bitters in a smoked coupe.
• Smoky Margarita: 2 oz tequila, 1 oz lime juice, ½ oz agave syrup, shaken and served in a smoked glass.

In the kitchen: Smoke butter, honey or coarse salt for steaks, cornbread and chocolate desserts.
