Introducing Middleton's Bitters Cherry & Vanilla Bitters. This Canadian-made bitters combines the sweet flavour of cherry, balanced with the aromatics of vanilla and cardamom. The classic flavour profile pairs with most base spirits and shines in a Manhattan or a cherry Old Fashioned. Add a dash to your favourite cocktail for a touch of sweetness and complexity.
Flavour notes: Sweet cherry, warm vanilla, cardamom spice.
Try it in:
- Cherry Vanilla Old Fashioned: 2 oz bourbon, ¼ oz simple syrup, 4 dashes bitters. Stir over ice and garnish with orange peel and a cherry.
- Cherry Manhattan: 2 oz rye, 1 oz sweet vermouth, 3 dashes bitters. Stir and strain into a chilled coupe.
- Zero-proof: A few dashes in tonic or sparkling apple juice.
In the kitchen: A few drops on vanilla ice cream, or stirred into cherry jam, chocolate sauce or brownie batter.
