Terms and Conditions for Reid's Distillery "$10,000 Wedding Giveaway"

1. Eligibility

• Participants must be 18 years or older and residents of Ontario, Canada.
• Employees, contractors, and family members of Reid's Distillery and Food Dudes Inc. are not eligible to participate.

2. Entry Period

• The giveaway begins on January 24, 2025, and ends on April 11, 2025 at 11:59 PM EST.

3. How to Enter

• Follow Reid's Distillery and Food Dudes Inc. on Instagram and/or Facebook.
• Like, comment on, and share the contest giveaway reel.
• Participants may enter multiple times by tagging friends; each tag counts as a separate entry.
• The winner may be either the account making the comment or the tagged account.

4. Winner Selection

• The winner will be chosen via a random draw from all eligible entries and announced on April 11, 2025.
• The draw will be conducted fairly and randomly using a selection tool.

5. Winner Notification

• The winner will be notified via direct message on Instagram.
• The winner must respond within 30 days of the notification to claim their prize.
• If the winner does not respond or fails to meet the eligibility requirements, Reid’s Distillery reserves the right to either:
  • Select an alternative winner through another random draw, or
  • Declare the prize forfeited at its sole discretion.

6. Prize Details

• The prize includes:
  • $5,000 room rental credit (maximum value, not exchangeable for cash or transferable to other services).
  • $2,500 beverage credit (including taxes and gratuities; any additional beverage costs are the winner’s responsibility).
  • $2,500 catering credit provided by Food Dudes Inc. (including taxes and gratuities; any additional catering costs are the winner’s responsibility).
• The prize has no cash value and cannot be substituted or transferred for other events or services.
• The wedding must be hosted at Reid’s Distillery and is subject to availability and blackout dates.

7. Conditions of Use

• The winner must:
  • Provide proof of age and Ontario residency.
  • Sign a liability waiver and photo release agreement allowing Reid’s Distillery to capture and use content for promotional purposes.

8. Scheduling

• The wedding date is subject to availability and must adhere to Reid’s Distillery’s scheduling policies, including blackout dates.
• The event can be rescheduled with a minimum of two weeks’ notice, subject to availability.

9. Liability and Disclaimer

• Reid’s Distillery and Food Dudes Inc. are not responsible for:
  • Travel arrangements or expenses.
  • Unforeseen costs exceeding the prize value.
  • Disputes or issues arising from the use of the prize.
• In case of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., government restrictions or severe weather), Reid’s Distillery reserves the right to reschedule the event.

10. Compliance and Disqualification

• The giveaway complies with all applicable Ontario contest laws and is void where prohibited.
• Reid’s Distillery reserves the right to disqualify any entries that violate these terms or appear fraudulent or inappropriate.

11. Modification or Cancellation

• Reid’s Distillery reserves the right to modify or cancel the giveaway at any time without prior notice.
