The health and safety of our patrons and our community are extremely important to our family. We have been and will continue to monitor the situation very closely and are following the advice of the Ontario Ministry of Health and the Public Health Agency of Canada. At this time, the Public Health Agency of Canada maintains that the risk of transmission is low and they have not recommended we alter our services. We have, however, decided to take measures to increase the safety and security of all our family members. We've outlined these measures below, please let us know if you have any questions.
The Distillery bar and retail will remain open normal hours, Wednesday through Sunday 11am to 11pm. In our bar area, we will have additional sanitizers available for patrons. We will be continuing to follow all Public Health guidelines in the Distillery and going further to enhance our sanitation practices. We will be encouraging effective handwashing with reminder signs in our washrooms. We are working with our staff to ensure best practices and precautions in interacting with our guests.
This is how we are adapting Reid's events to ensure your safety and we will continue to monitor and adapt as appropriate.
- Reid's Signature Tours - Tours will operate on a normal schedule. We have adapted the experience to limit contact and enhance sanitation. The tour will until further notice include a tasting of each of our three gins instead of the tactile botanical experience.
- Gin and Jazz - Will be continuing as normal on Thursday evenings and there will be enhanced sanitation measures taken throughout the lounge.
- Cocktail Classes, Yoga and Make Your Own Gin Experience - all March sessions will be cancelled and all people with bookings in March will receive a voucher to reschedule. Our events team is currently contacting all bookings that have been affected.
We have been astounded at the support we've received from this wider family of ours since our doors opened almost a year ago. COVID-19 has had a detrimental effect on communities across the world and our hearts are with all those affected. We, and all small businesses, appreciate any support you can give in this difficult time.
